I propose the textures, colours and shapes of my work, but it's the transparency of glass, the kiln that transforms it, and the scattering of light unique to the chosen location it's in that do the magic. My inspiration originates from the remote city of Valparaiso in Chile and is fulfilled here in Leigh, two eerily similar places.
