GOLDEN TICKETS went live on Saturday February 7 at made-in-essex.com and sold out in a few hours. But the show will stay up at 70 The Broadway until February 15th. A host of your Leigh Art Trail favourites, artists from further afield and a sprinkling of celebs have created postcard-sized masterpieces, with every penny raised going to Metal’s Connect art therapy classes for people living with dementia.

JANE PIPER — Mill Hall, Rayleigh — January 14 until February 5
Exhibition of embroidery featuring all Jane’s recent themes — Victorian Gothic; Georgian Lovers Eyes; Wizard of Oz and Martyrs.

ESTELLE WESTLAKE — Hadleigh Old Fire Station — February 19
Pottery workshop for U3A art group, giving an insight into Estelle’s hand-built work that draws heavily on natural forms such as seed heads and plant life.

ESSEX OPEN — Beecroft Art Gallery, Southend-on-Sea — Until February 15
Many of our artists have work in this exhibition, which showcases the finest contemporary art from across the county.
