I am inspired by the estuary’s shifting tides as well as Japanese aesthetics. I work with wheel-thrown and hand-built forms, embracing texture, imperfection and visible touch. Incorporating local driftwood and rusted metal, I create mindful, tactile pieces reflecting nature, simplicity and quiet beauty.
